Baldur's Gate 3
I don't love BG3 unconditionally but I like it well enough. You should at least make it to Karlach before you judge.
I don't know if I can be fair about it given that BG1/2 are collectively a top 10 game for me, if an unranked and nebulous list of favorites can have some kind of conceptual top 10 equivalent (I do also like the Divinity: Original Sin games, though). Maybe I'll write more about it later, but I've talked in a few places about how I don't think games need to or should emulate movies, and it would mostly just be that again.
